Joshua Chan
Managing Consultant
Joshua is the Managing Consultant at Red Ascend Consultancy. He had previously served as Head of Finance at the iflix Group and held various positions in Emery Oleochemicals Group & Ernst & Young.

He has a diverse experience in both highly regulated as well as innovative industries that ranges from corporate company to start-ups, and had successfully implemented, and transformed systems, people and processes. He was instrumental in building the finance operations at Newswav and iflix where he led funding plans, cash flow and treasury management, and had successfully lead in multiple funding rounds for both startups.

Joshua is a certified Scaling Up couch. He is also a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and holds an MBA from the University of Strathclyde.
Esther Chan
Finance Transformation Consultant
Esther joined Red Ascend Consultancy in 2020 where she focuses on system, process and finance transformation.
Prior to Red Ascend Consultancy, Esther is one of the youngest to be made as a manager in EY Malaysia, where she worked with clients from various industries such as highways and water concession, automotive, construction, property development and property investment.

Esther is a Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. She is also an avid equestrian and SSI certified free diver.
